Maya's Turn

My last post was all photos of Ella. So in the interest of fairness, here is a post of photos of Maya. She is so photogenic that it is not challenging to take a great picture of her, so I haven't been taking as many lately which is a shame. She is what sparked my interest in photography in the first place and she makes my portfolio impressive. Enjoy her beauty for yourself...

Fresh Faces

I uploaded some more photos of the girls. I started this blog to share photos with friends and family. I've posted all sorts of things since then - but ultimately its the girls that people want to see. So here they are in all their glory....

Maya is TALENTED!

Just a quick post to show off one of Maya's new amazing works of art. She drew this picture for her Aunt Casey. It's Casey holding up a quilt that Grandma made for her. She's surrounded by Grandma's dogs. I'm so proud! Look at the detail and the recurring pattern in the quilt. I'm beaming. She's not even six yet!!!!!!!

Collage

It has been awhile since I've had time to create some new art. Photography has become my artistic expression. But since Maya (now almost 6) was very small, I have been creating collages out of her art work. I almost always create the collages as gifts for the small children of friends and family. I'm itching to make a new one but haven't been inspired as of yet.
