Summer is ending.

Just like in Charlotte's Web, the crickets are singing the end of summer every night. Although it's still unbearably hot, one can feel summer coming to an end. The school year is getting ready to start. There is hustle and bustle and new schedules to adjust to. I am feeling a surge in creativity, but have yet to reharness my organized self. I am working on being the best me I can be. Here's a recent photo. I am at such a crossroads with photography. Today is a beginning. Who knows where the changes will lead me? Here's a summer blossom from our backyard. Chris's grandma says these flowers are called "Naked Ladies."

New work

The heat of summer has created a lull in photographic inspiration. The light is rarely inspirational and the blossoms are desperate for rain. But finally I have a couple of new images I'm very proud of and that I'd like to share.
