"Iced In" 2007

A wintery storm of freezing rain and sleet has iced us in since  Friday afternoon.  It is bitterly cold and every outdoor surface is frozen.  It looks like snow.  Bright white everywhere.  But when you stand on it, it holds solid.  It is a strange sensation to stand suspended 2 inches above the ground on solid ice. ...
